Three Eastern Michigan University graduate programs have been recognized among the nation's finest, according to the 2025 U.S. News & World Report Best Graduate Schools rankings.
The Master of Occupational Therapy Program at Eastern Michigan University is ranked 53rd out of 281 programs. The Physician Assistant Program is ranked 93rd among 205 programs, and the Speech Language Pathology program holds the 120th position among 282 programs.
All three programs improved from their 2024 rankings. The Occupational Therapy Program rose from 65th to 53rd, the Physician Assistant Program advanced from 118th to 93rd, and Speech Language Pathology moved up from 136th to 120th.
The Occupational Therapy Program, established in 1941, is known for producing skilled professionals. Its alumni have been recognized with high honors, including the American Occupational Therapy Award of Merit.
The Physician Assistant Program is a rigorous 24-month, full-time curriculum. Graduates are prepared for certification and licensed practice, utilizing autonomous decision-making while working under a physician's supervision.
The Speech-Language Pathology program provides comprehensive academic and clinical training, preparing students to offer clinical services and advocacy for individuals with communication challenges. It is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology.
