City of Portage recently issued the following announcement.
TRAFFIC ALERT: Utility lines along Brown Avenue were pulled down by a semi-truck this morning. Consumers and the Fire Department are on scene making repairs. Traffic on Brown Avenue from Currier Drive to South Westnedge Avenue and South Westnedge Avenue from Shaver Road to Centre Avenue is currently blocked.
The entrance / exit to City Hall from Centre Avenue remains open.
