City of Portage recently issued the following announcement.
Leaf Collection Laborer (6 Week Assignment)
The City of Portage is hiring for a six-week temporary assignment to assist with Leaf Clean-up season. Individuals hired walk through city neighborhoods and blow leaves into the streets for the leaf removal trucks to scoop up.
Applicants must be 18 years of age, with reliable transportation to and from work. Must also have the ability to wear a 25 lb. backpack blower and walk distances of 10-15 miles per day.
$17.00/hour (Includes premium)
