Eastern Michigan University Theatre is set to stage Richard O’Brien’s "The Rocky Horror Show," promising an engaging and interactive experience for audiences. The performances are scheduled for February 13 and 14 at 7 p.m., February 15 at 5 and 10 p.m., and February 16 at 2 p.m. All shows will take place in the Legacy Theatre within the Judy Sturgis Hill Building on EMU's Ypsilanti Campus.

The production, directed by Phil Simmons with music direction by R. MacKenzie Lewis, follows the story of Brad and Janet as they encounter Dr. Frank-N-Furter's peculiar home after experiencing car trouble. This rendition of "The Rocky Horror Show" encourages audience participation through shout-outs and props, with kits available for purchase in the lobby.

EMU Theatre has partnered with EMU’s Campus Life and LGBT Resource Center for a special pre-show event on February 13, exclusively for students. A representative from the LGBT Resource Center will also provide a pre-show talk on February 16 about the show's history and significance.

Tickets are priced at $12 for students, $15 for seniors, and $20 for regular admission. Tickets can be purchased online, by phone, or in person at the EMU Ticket Office. Parking details are available through LAZ Parking, with specific arrangements outlined for each performance day.
