Friday, Jan. 31: Saline High School standout Clara Cherry’s college team loses to West Alabama Tigers

On Friday, Jan. 31, former Saline High School standout Clara Cherry’s current college team, the North Georgia Nighthawks, lost 2-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the West Alabama Tigers.

The game took place at Gulf Shores Sportsplex. This was their first matchup against the Tigers this season.

The Nighthawks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 1 at 10:30 a.m. at Gulf Shores Sportsplex against Florida Tech Panthers.
